How is GeoDomeX anchored down?

All dome models are anchored using custom-designed L-shaped brackets that screw into the ground. These can be fixed to various surfaces like decking, concrete, paving slabs, tiles, and tarmac.

You can also upgrade to stainless-steel brackets for added durability and enhanced protection in exposed locations with our Stainless Steel Upgrade or Ultra+ upgrade order add ons.

How does GeoDomeX perform in different weather?

GeoDomeX is designed for year-round durability. All models are built to handle typical UK conditions, with UV-protected panels and corrosion-resistant fixings. For added strength in windier or more exposed areas, you can upgrade to Ultra+—featuring 30% thicker panels and stainless-steel hardware for maximum resilience.

How do I clean and maintain the dome?

The dome is low-maintenance. Just rinse with a hose or wipe down with a soft cloth and mild soap. UV protection helps reduce yellowing and keeps it looking new.

Do I have to pay taxes, duties or customs charges?

GeoDomeX offers free shipping on all orders. All transactions are free from custom/duty charges.

How is GeoDomeX packaged and delivered? 

• Mini and Standard domes are shipped in two manageable boxes for easy transport and handling.

• Large domes are delivered in six boxes or on a pallet, depending on your location and courier availability.

We aim for next working day delivery for orders placed before the cut-off, and always strive to get your order delivered as quickly as possible, wherever you are.

Please note: add-ons and accessories may ship separately, so your order might arrive in multiple deliveries. For the most accurate delivery estimate, check the estimated delivery date at checkout.

Do I need any specific tools or skills to assemble GeoDomeX?

No specialist tools required. The kit includes everything you need: panels, fixings, and a screwdriver-compatible tool. For anchoring to decking or hard surfaces, a cordless drill or screwdriver is recommended for easier installation.

How long does it take to assemble GeoDomeX?

With two people, the Mini and Standard domes take around 4 hours. Large domes may take 6–8 hours due to size. We also offer assembly service in select areas—just choose this at checkout if needed.

Can I move my dome to another location?

Yes. The dome can be dismantled and rebuilt in a new spot, or moved carefully in one piece with 3–6 people depending on the size.

Is planning permission or a building permit required?

In most countries, planning permission usually isn’t needed – GeoDomeX is classed as a temporary structure with no permanent foundations. Most other locations also don’t require permits, but please check with your local authorities prior to purchase to confirm your specific circumstances.

Do I need to prepare the space before I assemble my GeoDomeX?

Just make sure the ground is flat and clear where you’ll place the dome. If anchoring, check for underground utilities like pipes or cables first.

Can I use GeoDomeX for business or commercial use?

Yes. It has a European Fire Rating of A2 - Non-combustable.

What is the Ultra+ upgrade?

The Ultra+ Upgrade is an optional enhancement available for our Mini and Standard domes. It includes:
